DJ support
Four thousand promos go out with every record. Somewhere between a hundred and two hundred people open it. Sixty or seventy write back, usually between two gigs, usually fast. That is what you are reading below, release by release, exactly as it was typed. The tens and the fives, the three word replies and the ones that go on for a paragraph.
We could have kept only the good ones. Every label does. But a page of nothing but praise tells you nothing, and anyone who has ever run a promo list knows it.
