Joey Beltram

New York, USATechno legendEnergy Flash

One of the defining figures of nineties techno. The New Yorker wrote Energy Flash for R&S in 1990 and, with Second Phase's Mentasm, gave rave one of its most copied sounds: the hoover.

Releases on R&S, Warp, Tresor and his own STX imprint, and a career that never left the club circuit.

He has remixed for Metrohm, one of the names that made the label credible early on.

Short for now, and honestly so. There is little public about Joey Beltram, and guesswork is not writing. What we can vouch for: 1 record on Metrohm, in 2016. Anything you can tell us, we will use.
