Jules Wells works quietly, and the discography does the arguing. He is the only French producer to have released on all three of Detroit's landmark houses at once — KMS, Planet E, Electrofunk and Submerge, the home of Underground Resistance.

His album came out on Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, another name that recurs across this roster. Melodic, magnetic techno: the kind that pulls rather than pushes.
